I'll take a chance on this remake.

The funny part for me is they wanted to film the city scenes in an area that looked like a war-zone and my parents bitched that they kept blocking the street behind their house in Detroit.

Boy, that kind or realism can only add to the quality of the movie  ;D ;D

They originally had the movie finished and the bad guys were the ChiComs.  Due to pressure from the Chinese, they changed it to North Korea.

Bunch a limp wristed hollywood sissies.
Bravery and stupidity are often synonymous.  So are cowardice and intelligence.

"We Americans have been a rebellious band of freedom loving vagabonds from the very beginning. Our freedom from the crown and tyranny would not exist had it not been for the gun. That's a tradition we like to hold on to.  The same can't be said for the rest of you 'Subjects of the Queen'."--said to a Canadian friend who just doesn't get it.

I've been trying to come up with a smart assed comment about being invaded by a country of 25 Million.
If the entire population came over only one in 4 gun owners would even get a shot.

Initial reviews say its OK.........this newer version has a more PC,.....don't want to "offend" too many approach. As they heavily added CG action, (computer generated) as opposed to later dubbed Chinese to N. Korean subtitles,....

We'll see.... Hollywood lost its originality years ago, and now just re"do's" of previous successful films......

Like Porsche,...

There is no substitute....

I'll keep the original....

BECAUSE WE LIVE HERE!!!!!

WOLVERINES!!!!!!!!!!!

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
