Love to have one of those too.   ;)

The best financial option for a .30 cal AR for me in the short future would be a .300 AAC Blackout. All I need is the barrel until an entire upper can be purchased.

Yes Peg, you are now a "full fledged" right winger, it does not however make you bad, or evil.
Unstable, well, in your case it far predates the AR.  ;D

don't know if the Flint River Club at Americus hosts 3 gun matches, but if you get to South River at Conyers/McDonough or Cherokee at Gainesville they probably can get you into a practical rifle or 3 gun match....

Well, I have several scope options from a collection I already have on hand....... (until I can scrape up the $$ for an EOTec, Trijicon, or such....and since we are having a new roof put on this week, that might be a while)...... but, none fit just right. The one that fit with tall rings, still wasn't tall enough for proper eye-to-scope alignment.....and the ones with larger objective lenses bottomed out on the hand-guard.

So..... I ordered these UTG medium and high picatinny risers through Amazon. The full length riser was $14 and the two small ones were $8 each. They are solidly made and look to be sturdy.

Now maybe I can do some real shootin' with the thing.
