I always get a kick out of the way the LSM describes hollow points:
"Hollow point bullets are designed to expand as they enter the body, causing maximum damage by tearing apart internal organs."  They never once mention anything about over penetration and hitting bystanders - not that the SSA would give a rat's ass about that.
