So wasn't Joseph Gobbels, Americas "Jounalists" learned a lot from him, primarily that a lie repeated often enough becomes the truth.  Remember a few years ago when the big concern was "global cooling" After a winter that set records for snowfall here in NH I say global warming is BS. Yes, Glaciers in Greenland are receding, to day they have receded almost as far back as they were 1000 years ago when the Vikings settled there, not quite, but almost. The problems are that they are trying to calculate multi thousand year cycles using 200 years worth of data and enviro panic is big bucks.

"The problems are that they are trying to calculate multi thousand year cycles using 200 years worth of data and enviro panic is big bucks."

Tom, you hit the nail on the head. First junk science. I had tons of training in geoscience in grad school, and as an archaeologist and historian I am well familiar with geologic cycles. 200 years ain't even a blink of an eye geologically.

As for the big buck, some month back, a news article came through about how the Democratic National Committee had funded a study that indicated that there was roughly $15 Billion to be made annually by pushing the green agenda. Report disappeared from the LSM as fast as it appeared.

In case you don't think so, consider those stupid ugly green-tinted CFLs (compact flourescent lights) all the teachers are telling their classes to go home and insist Mommy and Daddy buy. They are what, $2.50 each or more? And what is a regular incandescent? $0.27 each? And now, of course, they "discover" there is mercury in the CFLs (known all along) and now there must be special reycling centers set up to collect and process the CFLs.

Like Tom said, "big bucks".
"I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do this to others and I require the same from them"

Newspaper subscriptions, magazine renewals, ALL DOWN!, Maybe it's just a matter of "Time", before they become even more diminished to just be another rag, like Rolling Stone. ( Just as Bad ).
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

If you tour the Natural History Museum in Chicago you will see that we are on the warming (but still icy) side of a natural cycle of ice ages.

This is why I'm willing to admit that we are experiencing global warming.  I am even willing to say we may be contributing in some way.  However, this is a natural cycle, and it is going to happen anyway.

Come on now!  I'm not giving the store away, and some of them green chicks are hot!

Seriously, is there absolutely no shame in anything anymore?

Another question, since when did the National Enquirer write for Time?

I'm  a 20 year military Veteran and I think it despicable. If your not qualified to speak of war, or been there, and can't think of anything positive to say about those that have, then shut the f**k up!.

And thats all I got to say about that.
