I know, Tom.. I was a soldier too..
It sounded like he was a "former Marine".
It is sounding like there was more than one FB site and maybe the guy was making some pretty serious threats..
I'm learning to take the word of any mother with a grain of salt..
It was just an unsettling, very incomplete story..
The guy is a Paul-Bot.. I see these guys screaming every day, still, and RP sits back and cackles like he's watching some stupid television show saying "I can't control them".
9 out of 10 of these guys can't even spell with a spell checker. RP needs to redirect these guys into channeling their energy into something a little higher or more productive than being anarchists.. 
He could do it too, but I don't think he's got the guts to.. Why? Because "he's got his".. I guess that crazy old coot thinks that these guys serve his cause. Well that's just real good now isn't it..
I wonder if he thinks these guys are good for the country when they cant' even read, or accept the importance of a dictionary...
These stupid assholes are gonna get us all killed, and for nothing..

My newest theory is that Ron Paul read the Barnum quote about a sucker being born every minute and had an "Ah ha" moment.
He went from being an unheard of Rep from nowhere Texas to being known nation wide with all that campaign money.
Ever heard of a former candidate filing chapter 11 ?
Mean while the extremism of his positions contained something to piss off any thinking person on either side of any question guaranteeing that he would never actually get stuck with the aggravation of actually winning and having to do the work.
