Great job.

He kept moving, using the desk for cover, moving back and then forward as the situation changed, firing around each side as targets retreated and he appeared he kept firing.

He didn't let up his guard when it appeared clear.  He moved to a recess, still keeping  his gun on target tell he was sure no one was coming back.

I couldn't make it out clearly, but he sure looks like the kind of man who would carry a Glock  ;D ;D ;D

Wonder how many shots he fired.

Good showing for the guy and he won the day....... great reaction time to an unseen/unannounced threat.

I would be interested to know if he has had any 'formal' training.

He ought to be solicited by NYPD on how to engage a target.

The contrast between his reaction and engagement and at least one of the NYPD officers couldn't be more drastic.  3 seconds from the holster to engaging after sitting for hours, major kudos to him

I am sure that 3 seconds seemed like hours

He spent those 3 seconds wisely.  He was up out of his chair, moved to put the desk between himself and the threat while he was drawing.  He made his first shots around the right side of the desk, them moved back and to the left putting distance between him and the threat, firing all the while, ending up on the left side of the desk where he had a clear line of fire all the way back out the door.

Those were all instinctive moves.  Perhaps he had rehearsed what he would do in that situation in the long hours of boredom on the job.

Whatever, he was quick and decisive in his actions....probably quicker and nimbler on his feet than he'd been for awhile.

A great job.

The one thing I would question is where did all those bullets end up .
Only one apparent hit for all those shots is the same "spray and pray" mentality that got 9 bystanders hit in NY.
Granted, this guy was not on a crowded street, but you are responsible for every round you fire.

His targets were moving pretty fast.

Having the tables rotated on you in the middle of an armed robbery will do that do you.  Not too mention the slick floor covered in your own urine  ;D
