Well, I complained about my cable getting fried and how Comcast said it would take six weeks to fix. I decided to call BS on that and went to my AT@T store and signed on to Uverse. I got there on Monday. By the time I got a home a guy was already doing the outside work.

On Wednesday, the inside guy got there. Apparently there were some problems with the phone lines (the builder hadn't secured an end or something) so he had to route from the phone the cable or some such, but it works. The guy was there for three hours and worked like a Trojan. I mean seriously, inside, outside, in the attic, disassembling every phone jack etc.. He was definitely not a slacker and knew his stuff.
As it stands now, my internet is faster, the phone gives me 250 minutes of free long distance which I didn't have before, and I get more channels than any human needs (200 give or take, no premiums, but pretty much all of basic cable including two Military Channels

). My only beef is that the two History Channel's don't work so I'll call and complain about that on Monday.
On the whole, for $115 per month I get a lot more features and channels than I had with Comcast and paying AT@T separately. Plus is saves me about $60 a month. Its early days, but for now, Mikey likes it. I would recommend this system over Comcast or DirectTV.
