Personally, I'd have a great deal more confidence if this came from somewhere other than Prison Planet. Alex Jones and his adoring minions spend an awful lot of time examining self-defined conspiracies happening in La-La Land.
Now, understand I do not believe the Fibbies are beyond this kind of underhanded and un-American activity, and the plight of the young Marine was certainly well documented, but I think Prison Planet spends a lot of time churning tempests in teacups.
Still, it does not hurt to be aware of these possibilities and it is wise to publicize what we know to be true.
A large percentage of Americans have apparently lost sight of the fact that we were formed as a democratic republic where each person has an equal opportunity without a guarantee of equal outcomes. At this point in our history, it seems that a increasing percentage of non-working Americans are perfectly willing to live off the hard work and great effort of an increasingly shrinking number of working citizens. They are being aided in this effort by an increasingly leftist government that seems dedicated to making us all dependent upon government largess.
These are certainly strange times and our Constitution is daily trampled upon by what appears to be an increasingly empirical presidency. Still, large numbers of our fellows seem willing to give up their God-given rights for a little government chump change. They appear intent on continuing the erosion of our Constitutional rights.
Until recently, I rather felt I would be mouldering in the ground before seeing a completely socialist state, or the beginning of a revolution by people who still believe in the Constitution. Lately, the pace of change seems to be increasing. My excellent health evaluation by docs at the VA have me worried that I'll still be alive when the throw-down takes place. I don't know if that is good news, or bad.
Just some thoughts,
