So, I got in trouble at work last month.....

I drive a trash truck to earn my paycheck.  Second career and all.  When folks don't show up for work, it makes it real hard for those that do.  We had a long spell of just a few  taking extra days off.  I was doing my job, then spending a couple or three hours a day doing someone else'.  Let's just say I was less than pleased.

So, when the lazy schmucks finally showed up for work, I gave a couple of them tubes of Vagisil, and told them to use it and show up for work.

Two days later, I had to sit in on a conference call with corporate HR, about why I shouldn't be suspended for 'Creating a hostile working environment'.  When the smoke cleared I was not suspended, and was given a verbal.  Then when the HR weenie asked if there were any further questions, I asked if I could use Desitin next time instead.  The Director of Operations, Area Manager, District Manager, and Route Manager were all in the room with me.  They were barely able to control themselves, I thought a couple of them were gonna p**s their pants.  The HR weenie was not particularly happy. 

I'm still employed too.

Next time you need to get them the hurt feelings report. ;)

Yes, I had an experience like that.
When I was at T/C Arms we had this big black guy working there, he showed up 1/2 hour late one day asking the lead man what machine he was on.
Lead man is busy getting every one else set up so he says "hang out I'll get to you".
Black guy says loud enough for everyone to hear over the machines, "I'd have gotten a machine if I was white".
I had to point out , "No Willy, you would have gotten a machine if you were on time ."
Next day I had to "explain myself to the shift supervisor".
Nothing happened to me but "He's a lazy, mouthy, POS" was not the defense they expected.  ;D

Political correctness is rampant in corporate America today. When I worked for a living (land surveyor), what Baldguy did would have been common place where I worked. But times have changed....

If there weren't any women among the drivers I don't see what beef was. Oh well, everything has gotten fuzzed with paranoid lawyers.
FQ13 In my day, we had slip'n slides, and lawn darts, and they're weren't "safties" on our lightesr. You shot your eye out with a BB gun and you were a just one eyed freak and that's the way it was. And Weee liked it! Wee loved it! ;D

(when it's resolved, I can tell a story about what a family member is going through right now)

In the fire service you either had thick skin or you were a miserable crybaby that had the personnel dept on speed dial.
Some guys were merciless. 
Show 'em a scab and they'll pick it till it bleeds.  ;D

Now people can't seem to grow a pair of balls. They've lost the abilty.
 
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

They are taught in school to be p*ssy victims.
Johnny is lazy, or just plain stupid, but he still moves on to the next grade .
Teachers don't use red when correcting papers anymore because red is "an angry color" and might damage little Johnny's self worth.

I just fire those guys and move on.  f..k HR.  I sign the checks, so I make the rules.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.
