Prep alert level

So with this weekend's stories of continued chaos and anger in the aftermath of Sandy, and the upcoming election, I raised my own alert level even though I'm on the left coast.  Just inventorying, and going over plans.  I'm trusting nothing else will come of it, but it's things like this that can quickly spin out of control.  Have you raised your awareness?

Never hurts to inventory your gear and rotate the expendables.
Actually I lowered my alert level by taking my phone charger back out of my bug out bag.
