Time to flush

Well, I got up this morning and shat, showered and shaved. Now I need to go vote so I can flush one giant mistake away. Hope y'all show up as well. Lines are supposed to be long, but I'm patient when I need to be.

That's my plan as well. I figure the lines will be shorter if you avoid the early morning, lunchtime and after work rushes. Of course 10,000 people probably have the same "cunning plan".

Dedicated to all the silly people that braved 2+ hours to early vote.

I was in line a 6am.  First one.  Joined by neighbors I don't normally see.    Three AF veterans in the first 10 in line.  The lady behind me knew my best friend' best friend.   We lamented how in 4 to 8 years we will probably no longer have "precincts" just voting places.  How there will be voting on-line and the loss of sense of community.

I voted and was in the truck on the way to breakfast by 7:05.  Great time jawin' with the poll workers too.

My flush began at 7:10 and complete at about 7:15 am, nowhere near the front and not in the back but my district had no waiting once inside the door.

Got to the local coffee shop a little after 7AM, people who came in who had already voted said there were lines.
By the time I got to the polls at about 8:45 the lines were gone but I got the only empty booth,.
I imagine they will be packed again at lunch and after work.

I just got back. After the news reports about long lines for early voting I came prepared with a mini-cooler full of ice water and some peanutbutter crakers in case I was in line through lunch. Guess what? No line. None, not even one person ahead of me at the table. I was in and out in five minutes. The good news? My district is so Democratic that there wasn't even a GOP candidate on the ballot for state rep. If this how turnout is in Blue districts in Florida, BO has some problems.
