Stop working.  Let them starve.

Quite honestly that is about the only option there is left.

I guess each state has laws on how their Electoral College delegates have to vote, but when I was in high school, the EC were independent and, while expected to reflect the popular vote, could go their own way.

If that is still the case anywhere, they could all vote for Romney.

I wonder if that would cause a stir?

With all the election lawyers still on retainer, you don't have to wonder!

Well I don't think I'll smoke but I do plan on more ammo and drinking more.  I fear the country is lost to the people with a dependency on the government for a handout.  Obama gets props for handing Sandy and he did nothing.  I think I'll convert my cash and 401k to gold and head to the woods with my armaments, Dillon 550b, reloading components and hunker down.

Where is John Galt?

Would be nice to have that self sufficient community out there someplace....won't be a secret for long though with surveillance being as advanced as it is.

To hell with all of it...I'm going to watch the Zombie episode of Shooting Gallary that is posting here on DRTV.  Then I'm going to load up more AR15 rounds on the 550 just in case.

You hit my tough choices right on the head.

Do I invest my limited funds in more weapons/ammo or home brewing?

I am thinking home brewing.....I already have some guns and ammo.

Isn't there some saying about..

If you give a man a beer,  he's happy for a half an hour, but if you teach him to brew at home he's

but I don't know the rest of it.

Come on out to Washington state or Colorado..

Seattle, Washington (CNN) - Starting in just about a month, some marijuana users in Washington state won't have to hide from the law. "You cannot be arrested for being in possession of an ounce of marijuana."
Last night, Washington became the first state to legalize recreational marijuana use.
Supporters of Initiative-502, as it was called, cheered after the election results.
The new law proposes a steep tax on the drug -- about 40 percent.
Lawmakers say it will take a year to get the tax system set up.
In the meantime, starting December 6-th, it will be legal for anyone over 21 to posses an ounce or less of marijuana.
Some experts suggest the initiative will be challenged in the Supreme Court, since marijuana is still illegal under federal law.
Colorado also passed marijuana legalization last night.

From all that is sounds like you can posses it but not sell it..or maybe you can posses and sell that one oz.?   Not gonna be a lot of tax revenue to collect no matter how high it is taxed
