ALL I can think about are the new supreme's - what a failed word that will be... supreme.. for who or what.
I use to be proud to declare my self as a Republican - as of last night I am no longer part of that party.

I am either an independent or Tea Party member with the loss of the Republican elite’s hand-picked candidate – I think the tea party may quite be last best hope America has to restore America’s founding principles.
(Kind of torn form the Tea Party's page - butchered by me)

The only bright spot it that these f*cking parasites deserve what is coming.
Triple digit inflation
40+% unemployment,
$20+ trillion  debt

The Tea Party will fare even worse. Don't play into that business that if they would have nominated Ron Paul the Republicans would have won last night. It would have been a slaughter of unprecedented proportions. The bulk of the voting electorate does not want smaller government. They want more free stuff. The more conservative the candidate, the less the government will give them. They view them as their enemy.

This is what the Republicans refuse to understand. It isn't the fact they've ran 2 moderates, (McCain & Romney, and lost). It's the fact the voting demographic in this country has shifted to the left far enough, that what the conservatives are selling isn't wanted by enough people anymore. That isn't a defeatist attitude, but a realistic one. If the Republicans run a hard core Regan conservative next time, he'll lose by an even greater margin. Regan was sold to an entirely different voting demographic in 1980. That demographic doesn't exist anymore in a large enough amount to matter.

And don't forget. In the next 4 years there will be at least 2 more Supreme Court Justice appointments coming up. Those justices will be as liberal as they can find. That will in fact shift the balance of power to the liberal democratic side, finishing off what little freedom we have left. Now, Obama Care will stand tall. I've already been forced to find a new doctor because the one I've had for the last 15 years is getting out. He'll more than likely have to follow the line out to the parking lot. Health care, much like this country, is finished as we now know it.
I was hoping for Mitt in the White House and a Dem Senate (I like divided government). Now, we get the worst of Both worlds A dem Senate and BO to appoint justices. So Bill, do you want to sell a beater AK to a forum member? ;)

The problem with Republicans is they no longer know which way to go. It was just a few years ago they were raving about Colin Powell. What happened to him? Simple, he became a flaming liberal. The Republicans are losing people and elections, while the dems are winning them.

That is exactly what they are Tom. The problem with parasites is they continue to multiply until they kill off the host. We're almost there now. We'll be a lot closer in 4 more years, if we don't go over the finish line before them.

Dumb question....

In 2014, are there any senate seats up for vote?

Or is it strictly the house?

At least 33 of them.  Ain't no such thing as a dumb question, specially if you don't know the answer.

is that called google-fu?
