Post election experience in the local gun shop
« on: November 07, 2012, 06:12:18 PM »
On another post I mentioned my new purchase of an AK-47 to "celebrate" BHOs re-election.  It was very busy in the gun shop and there seemed to be a lot of concern; justifiably.  They said all of the Colt AR-15s would be gone by close of business tonight and their shelves looked pretty light on inventory.

Anyone else drop by their shop or range today?  I am guessing your experiences were similar.

Just posted about ammo sales in RKBA.  As I said there, stupid crazy.

Late last night an FFL on the NJ gun forum reported NICS checks for 11/7 were 10 times normal number. Here we go again.

I've been shopping for extra mags for my XDM, they were about $20 a piece.  The best I have found today for regular capacity is $30, but on Ebay they are up around $40-60  :o

I don't see any chance of a mag cap bill or another AWB getting through the house or Senate but sheeple are sheeple. ::)

It doesn't have to get through congress.
Haven't you figured it out YET ?
All it takes is an executive order after the next mass shooting.

I put in paperwork the day after for my h&k usp .40 dream pistol.

My buddy is getting reloading dies for Christmas so we can make enough ammo for our habit and addictions.

I already have a few thousand rounds of various types. Some mags loaded and I cycle these.
