There won't be a collapse, at least not for a long, long time. The democrats are like the vampire L'estat....they will keep us alive so they can bleed us of the funding required to feed their  voting base. SOMEONE has to pay the bills, and if there's no money their racist hordes will turn on them in a heartbeat.

It's not their choice to make. They have been spending, borrowing, at suicidal rates for 4 years.
They have been printing money around the clock in a failed attempt to create the illusion of prosperity.
These are not new ideas, they have been tried before notably by FDR to end the depression, and by the Japanese during the 80's.
The results are always the same, failure.
What happens is that printing more money decreases the value of the money in circulation, this is reflected in prices requiring more money of lower value. it looks like prices going up, but it is in fact buying power going down. This is inflation.
Inflation increases costs of raw materials and services cutting profits therefore forcing business' to cut the only expense they can, labor, increasing unemployment and decreasing tax revenue. as prices continue to climb more business collapse into bankruptcy.
At the same time this is happening we have tax increases , and Obama care kicking in which will force more business to close their doors putting more people on unemployment further reducing tax revenues while inflation continues to erode all buying power.
Eventually it gets to the point where you need a wheel barrow load of cash to buy a loaf of bread and the system can no longer function. That is always followed by dictatorship, usually with a period of anarchy to under line the need for the "strong leader".
With the reelection of Barack Obama we watch the final fall of the dream of the founding fathers.

Yea going fishing or hunting sounds like fun but the simple truth you can run and you can try to "hide" from the storm but if you wish to think it will not effect you...or your family.  Then you too are part of the problem.  We shall stand and we shall be persecuted...but we must be counted. 

Those men at Benghazi did not have to go back to the compound and help those folks....those men knew they would surely die, but they knew too that they would be held accountable.....to God Almighty.  We too will be held accountable and not to any earthly man, but to God.

Stand tall, Voice your thoughts, and above all "Remember Benghazi & the 2 men who died to save the 20" may God be with them.

Saint Peter (the rock of the Church), as he was fleeing Rome, saw Christ carrying a cross walking on the path...the opposite (years after the Crucifixion of Christ) direction St Peter was going.  St Peter said to Christ why are you "carrying a cross"?

Christ said to Peter "I am returning to Rome to be Crucified on the cross "again", upon hearing that Christ said to Peter "Quo Vadis Peter"? Peter said I am fleeing Rome lord......... upon saying that Peter turned around and headed back into Rome to continue spreading the word of GOD, soon after St Peter was then crucified....

Gentlemen where are we going? Are we just going to stand around and like a bunch of crying children.... fleeing Rome as it burns? Or are we, as St Peter, going to return and engage?

My friends I ask you "QUO VADIS"? This Nation was a Godly nation and it can be... once more.......Quo Vadis?

My comment was to the previous post, not the OP.

I too will never forget the men at Benghazi, the WTC (x2), Pentagon, Shanksville, PA, USS Cole, Marine Barracks, Beirut, Lockerbie, Mogadishu, et al.. 

I won't shy away from protecting me and mine but my list of folks I'll personally take a bullet for is getting shorter and shorter!  Call me pessimistic but, this country is lost and I see no one worthy of following!

We have to be salt and light.  We need to be as crafty as serpents as well responding when and how we should...not when goaded.

We don't fix the nation from the top down.  We do it from the bottom up.  We start with the dog catcher, aldermen, mayor and so on....we work on the school board and the county commissioners.  We work to get a good county sherriff, upstanding state reps and state senators....we support good governors and US Congressmen and Senators.  A good president is a good thing...but one guy can't fix it.

The best thing that could happen here may be a complete economic collapse.  And though from all appearances I am certain we'll get one....I don't undersestimate the ability of evil to keep things going for it's own purpose.

Although Edmund Burke is credited with this quote, no clear reference has yet been found. If is therefore generally accepted that he spoke these words.

The meaning is simple: evil succeeds by two means. First the actor, the person performing the evil act brings it into being. Second, the audience, the person or persons who witness the evil performed. If the actor is permitted to do the evil deed by those who witness it without even the least comment, then evil wins.
