Wonder if Apple is working on marrying the iPhone 6  to a Gunsite Carbine? Imagine synching it to your scope, deer cams, home computer, television, the weather-deer channel and state deer tag site! Those pictures are evidence of the evolution of technology. Wow

Actually, that pistol grip on the fork or a shovel might be workable. 

Seems it would give a more ergonomic hold and if it rotated around the shaft but stayed put along the axis, it could reduce any blisters too.

While not as elaborate - a local Salvation Army had about 6 of these "add-A-handle" for $1 each - I bought them all.

Pistol grips? Sen Diane Feinstein wants to ban pistol grips and that would make any shovel with a pistol grip an assault shovel!
