Most industry organizations that develop "standards" make money by selling the "manual" of those standards. And usually they're not cheap. Try buying the NEA electrical code or the ASHRE HVAC code.
However, and I don't know if this is a recent thing, SAAMI, the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers Institute, Inc. has their specifications on-line and available for downloading in convenient PDF files. One each for Pistol, Rifle, Rimfire and Shotgun.
If you're new to reloading, SAAMI sets the "standards" for case and chamber dimensions as well as pressure levels. You see reprints of the SAAMI specs in the reloading manuals. Now you can go to the source for your data.
SAAMI's website is:
http://www.saami.orgYou want to look under INFO & SPECs, then SAAMI/ANSI Standards. Don't look under "Drawings", the "Standards" have everything. There are other good resources on the site worth reading as well.
Here's the direct link to pistol and rifle data.
