Yesterday in Greece the police were using rubber bullets to quell an uprising.  I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't know where to find rubber bullets

Marshall, The NRA has a point about making them stronger, but I'd rather see some unity between the NRA and the several other organizations that purport to defend the 2A. As a member of the NRA, I think we dissipate our efforts too much. A solid front will put the issue on the front burner. The NRA has to accept a bit of sharing of that power to have greater effect on the 2A issue. To your knowledge, is the NRA attempting to reconcile differences? We should be more than 5 million strong; should be closer to 40 million!

My point is that they will be struck with what we've got 

The issues between many people and the NRA are two fold:

1.  There are people that lean my way and thing the NRA has given up too much in the spirit of cooperation and compromise;

2.  There are the people that think the NRA does not compromise enough.  This group includes the Fudds that refer to the Second Amendment as a hunting gun issue, and do not understand the purpose or history of the Amendment.

The first round in my shotgun is a bean bag. After that it's 3" 00 Buckshot. My theory is IF I ever have to use that option at 3 am, I have an extra layer of "I tried not to kill him". If they refuse to stop when thumped by the bean bag, then it gets messy. At least I tried to not take his life.

We are now heading down the path of I subjective behavior in a given situation.  I do not go on record in discussing "what if's."
