3 barrels, 18 1/2 inches ?
There are better alternatives,they're called a pump or a semi auto .
Even the 3 barrel design isn't new, the German Drilling is not only 150 years older, but by adding a rifle barrel instead of a 3rd shotgun barrel it is more versatile.
Use the words "new and improved" or "tactical" and you can get suckers to buy anything.

I can't wait for the Revolutionary Upgrade....  a QUAD Barrel version. 

I think that would be the tops though.   I mean, really, if you were going to have 5 barrels, you'd just go with a pump or semi that holds 5 shells.

It would make for a compact home defense weapon, but I'd rather use a pistol.

I'll ask as an experienced bird hunter who happens to have a 43 year old shotgun with an IC barrel.....as in, never needed anything else!

Why the choke tubes for a defensive shotgun?

I give Chiappa credit for doing something out of the ordinary as most everyone else is just doing something akin to everyone else but, I don't see the need.  Technological advancement in firearms isn't done by by adding x amount of something that already does.  It's about real advancement, something someone hasn't done or hasn't thought of...

I'll pass!  I have a shotgun that can shoot five rounds as fast as I can press the trigger..

Guess it's just us then.  I love anything different and unusual.  I want one just because...Oh yea and I want a double bbl 1911 too when they come out and money lets me afford it.  I have my hunting guns and my defense guns.  I just love all things GUNS.
