try to infringe on the first amendment and all writers and journalists including Costas and Whitlock would lose thier minds . But the second amendment is considered an outdated relic. Hypocrisy at its worst from people who should understand that the second allows the first.

What do you expect from a liberal idiot that works for the Kansas City Red Star and most of their staff support liberals. Whitlock is just a mouth trying to keep his job and how will gun control work down in the hood where obama voters reside . You don't need a gun if your in the mind to kill something and the liberals cry when you try to enforce our laws on a liberal

One Dallas based radio show played that interview with Whitlock this afternoon.  I just about drove off the road when he drew the race card and accused the NRA of being the second coming of the Klan.

Why is it that in the abscense of logic and facts minorities always play the race card?  Oh, my bad, i forget that things get done today based on emotion rather than fact.  >:(

And maybe he forgot to mention how a lot of gun control laws were designed to keep guns out of the hands of free blacks? Idiot!

Another ironic thing about this..
I lived south of the border for 2010. I saw a Spanish video online from Hugo Chavez about us (NRA) portrayed in an animation kind of thing, that says we're the Klan, relabeled..
I guess that makes Chavez a third world dictator with real leadership qualities.. He teaches our leftists who we "really are"..  ::)
I don't know if I'd rather slap em or piss in their boot..
With friends like these, who needs hallucinations!..

Yep.

Which is what pisses me off so much about episodes like this.

Too many people (many on here) have sworn an oath to defend the Constitution....and many others have died.....just to give these clowns the freedom to speak as they please.....and then they waste that freedom by spouting inaccurate, personal, agenda-driven drivel..... and to me it is a slap in the face to all who have protected our freedoms.

Yeah, it's a double-edged sword.
I believe in their right to free speech.... I just wish they did too, at least enough to get the facts right from time to time.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Every enumerated right carries with it an unwritten responsibility .
The founders were thoughtful men who understood that.
The lack of that understanding today is why you can burn the flag but you can't pray in school.
Perverts and convicts don't have rights and Freedom of speech and press do not permit subversion of the Constitution.

Funny, I didn't know what color Whitlock was until I read his full article on line. I guess we don't even have to know WHEN to be racist, we just ARE no matter what the circumstances, and we can just be called on it when it fits.

The discussion was about gun control, not the institutional racism of the main stream media.

According to Chris Matthews, commenting on opposition to Susan Rice being nominated to replace Hillery,
"incompetent", and "liar" are code words for black.
I think we need to think hard about some one who hears the word "Black" and immediately thinks incompetent liar.
