Sometimes you just gotta love kids...
« on: April 29, 2008, 08:39:20 AM »
My wife was homeschooling my 6yo son yesterday.  He is just starting 2nd grade science (we school year round), and the question of seasons came up, her asking him what the seasons were.

His reply....  Hunting season and Fishing season..   ;D

Funny.  The sad part is he is already light years ahead of his government school counterparts.  They are learning PC and self esteem.

Personal Computer and Political Correctness indoctrination, ONE half of that will be of use to them in the future .
It seems like alot of you folks are my age or older (48+) Back then the object was to teach us HOW to think, now they are trying to teach WHAT to think.

Well, we are "older" parents of young kids.  Waited 13 years to have them.  We have seen the bad side of the public schools when we used to foster kids.  My sister started homeschooling hers cause of problems with the school.

back on topic..  I informed him that his mother wanted to know the four seasons, so I gave him the four seasons... Turkey, Fishing, Bow, and Rifle.  :)
