http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/white-house-president-supports-assault-weapons-ban-other-210135332--politics.html

President Barack Obama supports Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein's legislation banning assault weapons—signed into law in 1994, it expired in 2004—and other potential gun measures, the White House revealed on Tuesday, after declining to discuss gun control specifics the day before.

"He is actively supportive of, for example, Sen. Feinstein's stated intent to revive a piece of legislation that would reinstate the assault weapons ban," White House press secretary Jay Carney said at Tuesday's briefing. "He supports and would support legislation that addresses the problem of the gun show loophole, and there are other elements of gun legislation that he could support—people have talked about high-capacity ammunition clips for example, and that is something certainly that he would be interested in looking at."

Asking Hussein to do anything for gun owners was, is, and always will be a total waste of time. There were a lot of gun owners who punched this ass hats card....TWICE. All the while blathering on about how, "the Second Amendment won't be touched", and how, "Obama doesn't want to take our guns away!" This guy was, and is the most dangerous President in our history to gun owners. He is a political opportunist who will seize this moment to ram through the most oppressive gun legislation he possibly can. And now he's got his anti gun Vice President leading the charge for him.

I can possibly understand far left liberals wanting him. But it makes me sick to my stomach that gun owners in this country....A lot of them, were stupid enough to vote for this complete freedom robbing ass. The NRA better get their ass in gear and quit wasting TIME! They, and we, are going to be in the fight of our lives. And it doesn't look good.

I got an email from Biden's press secretary and there was a video from Obama. He says he believes in the second ammendment but he's ready to ban all "assault weapons". There was more to it but that's the gist of it. And I also read that Cuomo is trying to pass a gun confiscation law. I can only assume he wants the cops to go door to door collecting them.

No need, just announce it and the sheeple will go turn them in.

It worked with the stimulus and healthcare.
Like I've been saying, we lost, it's just a question of how much.

Hi;

     Forget O'Bama.... Are there not 27 Democratic Senators up for reelection this/next year?  That is where we halt a gun ban if anywhere. Get Pro 2nd Admendment candidates , contribute to them, work for them and get them elected.

     With House of Reps firmly in the conservative control - we need to get the Senate in conservative control. With that - O'Bama will be the 1 wondering what hit him. A over riding VETO  congress will get this country back on a good course.

     O'Bama can presidential order anything and it will not mean a thing if the Senate and House over ride him and his cronnies.
