School Attacker Response Course

The SARC Program is primarily meant for teachers and staff in the US public school system. It is a step beyond the "hide & hope" policy at most schools.

People have asked for a central information source for the SARC Program... this will be it.
More Information will be posted in regard to curriculum and the process for joining our instructor team soon.

For now, this page can be used to raise awareness and spread support for a National Movement to provide more than just "Hide & Hope" strategies to our teachers and children.

Earlier today I offered the entire Active Shooter Response DVD for FREE to any school teacher who wold send me their name and At School Mailing address for delivery. In addition to obviously wanting to put that information in the hands of people that it will help, I purposefully want to send it to teachers at their schools. I want to cause a change in the way that teachers and administrations look at the problem of spree killers and prepare to deal with them. The SARC training sounds like something parents should be pushing at the PTA.

If the teachers aren't asking for the training, perhaps it should be handed to them.

Yep.

I have forwarded the info to folks I know who are "like minded" in the education arena. Whether it sticks when it hits is unknown, but at least I can throw it out there.
