M58 has it, just let CCW teachers carry.
Minimal expense, maybe throw them a bonus in their check, and they are always there when the students are, plus, they are familiar with the kids, they will be the first ones to see danger signs.

On another forum someone said the kids would be able to get ahold of the guns. They just don't get the meaning of concealed.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Letter to Alexander Hamilton, Friday, May 02, 1783

I've run into the same thing in discussions .
They think it's just thrown in a desk draw or some thing.

We certainly do fight the battle against a woefully ignorant herd.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Another advantage of the spread of concealed carry.
The people who actually do are a lot more likely to get it .

The prob is that while most people do a good job, there will always be a few that don't.   that where the prob is.

You mean like with armed pilots ?
The only problem there was because the regulations required the lock to go through the trigger guard setting up a AD in waiting.

No I mean like leos that are the only one professional enough to have a gun.    piliots having guns are just a bad idea.  There is no safe direction to shoot in a aircraft.

Well, we haven't had a hijacking since the program started despite the incompetence of TSA.
It will come as a big shock to you that there have been armed guards on various flights for longer than you've been alive, and they have not yet brought down an airliner.
In fact they have this gee whiz wowee stuff called "Frangible ammo that is specifically designed for use in aircraft.
It's TAB, if I weren't bored I wouldn't waste my time.
