Guns may not be violent, we all know that an inanimate gun can not just up and kill some one.
But they are definitely capitalist.
We have all had experience with one that "just sold itself".  ;D

Inanimate object though they may be, guns are still my mistress. :)

Is it any wonder why I'm single for the last 12 years?

Nice wheel gun.

Just want to publicly thank Timothy for sending me a set of Hogue grips for my SP101!  Very nice of him to do so.

You're welcome gunman!  It's been sitting in my range bag for the last two years.  Better it gets a new home than sit there collecting dust.  Don't forget to wash my fingerprints off of it before your next caper!

Sp101 is one of my favorite Rugers ever. I have the 22lr,.357mag, and .327mag. I kind of wish they made one in 45lc or .30 carbine.

I have one in the same caliber and barrel length.  It's a superb shooter for me and it is my ccw gun when I carry it.  I really love revolvers. 8)

What's so bad about MIM parts? Why would Ruger put inferior parts on their products? I have an SP101 without the MIM trigger & a 6" GP100 with the MIM trigger. I can't tell the difference other than the back of the trigger is recessed.
"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty, teeth and keystone under independence. The church, the plow, the prairie wagon and citizens' firearms are indelibly related. From the hour the pilgrims landed to the present day, events, occurrences and tendencies prove that, to ensure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable. Every corner of this land knows firearms, and more than 99 and 99/100 percent of them by their silence indicate that they are in safe and sane hands. The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil influence. They deserve a place of honor with all that's good. When firearms go, all goes. We need them every hour." For starters they have a granular grain structure rather than the lineal grain of machined parts, even machined castings get their grain stretched into a stronger linear structure through the machining process.
That stretching is why barrels need "stress relief" between being worked and being shot.
Secondly it takes jobs from machinists like me.
