Lawyer wants to cash in on Newtown
« on: December 29, 2012, 02:26:19 PM »
A scumbag lawyer (I know, redundant) wants to cash in for "Jill Doe" & himself.

Lawyer trying to sue Conn. for $100M in school shooting says claim is over security, not money

<snippets from article>
A lawyer who’s asking to sue Connecticut for $100 million on behalf of a 6-year-old Newtown school shooting survivor who heard violence over the school’s intercom system says the potential claim is about improving school security, not money.

The child heard “conversations, gunfire and screaming” over Sandy Hook’s intercom after someone in the office apparently switched on the system, according to the claim.

You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

Wasn't some one saying that the school and Feds should be sued for depriving  the teachers of the right to protect themselves and their students ?
Yet as soon as some media out let posts about a lawyer suing over the security you want to f*ck him with a cactus ?
The media haven't even come up with one coherent story about what happened or the weapons used, yet you take this report as gospel ?

It's true Tom.  They interviewed the lawyer on the local news.

As to the validity of his case, I'll leave that argument to others to decide!

Oh, I don't doubt that a lawyer wants to sue .
But all 3 previous posts came from people who no way saw an interview on local TV news, so they immediately accept the word of the already discredited media that he is a scum bag.
It is just another example of how gullible the public is.
On subjects they know they catch the media in lie after mistake, after stupid statement .
But when the TV tells them the Branch Davidians were bad people, or Randy Weaver deserved to have his wife and son shot they take it as gospel.
Because it was on the news.

Let's see....
He is suing for a survivor.  One that heard the massacre over the intercom.
The state is going to get their azz sued off by the victims families.
He's suing for $100M.  What's his cut?
I think they already got the message about beefing up security.

So tell me, what, exactly, is the purpose of this suit?  Oh yeah, it's "not about the money", it's "for the children."

Pardon me if my cynicism is showing.

P.S. I guess it's only tax payer money so lets turn that spicket on full blast.

This is were I think public servants/politicians need to be held accountable.  They can rack up $TRILLIONS with good intentions  ::) and who ends up paying for it?  Hard working people that are outnumbered by the "less motivated"....
