"Al-Qaeda on path to defeat..." - Really?

During the campaign, we heard BHO claim that Al-Qaeda is on the path to defeat... decimated and demoralized... nothing but a whimper where they were once a shout.  He and his administration failed to notice that they were creating their own COUNTRY!  What a stupid and arrogant fool with his lies, deceit, and scandal - the harbinger of our Nation's continued pain and suffering.

A group of dedicated people fighting for their principles and beliefs on their home turf against an invading super power.

When will we look back at how we won this nation, and the struggles we had with an inside war in the mid 19th century, and realize that we can not go into a situation like Afghanistan and win on their terms?  We watched the USSR try it, and now we are repeating their failure.  Nobel intentions mean nothing if you aren't willing to commit to the level it takes.  Turn the place to glass (the only way to get a temporary victory in any middle east country) or tuck tail and walk away.

We would be better served to put embassies where we need them and protect them, and shore up our boarder security than to keep playing their games over their.
