Republicans may already be going soft on gun control

If you haven't called and/or written your Congresscritter, he's only hearing from the President, Sen Feinstein, and Piers Morgan.  It's time to get off of your rear and exercise a little self-government.  Griping on forums is fine, but it doesn't send the message.  Please ensure your elected reps (regardless of party) hear from you on gun control.

Apologies.  It's now fixed.  Thanks!

I think any Republican running in 2014 knows he will loose if he casts an anti-gun vote over this and we all know most only care about their own power. Any compromise is a win for them and a loss for us, what we need is for the Government getting out of our way and we will fix a lot of problems like we did in the past.

The only problem with that thinking is that Govt IS the problem .
They do not want "fixes", they want more control and will do whatever they can to get it.
We are talking about people who
Lost money running a whorehouse,
Murdered 26 Branch Davidians for a larger budget share,
smuggled guns to drug cartels in order to undermine the 2nd Amendment,
Have not passed a legal budget in 4 years, etc, etc, etc.
