Cavalry Arms gutted by BATF? WHY?
« on: May 02, 2008, 02:04:46 PM »
I thought people should know about this and what is going on.
Where is the outcry? :'(

Cavalry Arms; was raided by the ATF. The owner of the business is guilty of nothing. He has federal licenses to manufacture and distribute firearms, and was never charged with anything. The ATF has implied he is guilty of financial crimes, though no charges were formally announced. Regardless, the ATF has seized his personal firearms (even his wife and daughter's firearms), and has announced liquidation of them in the Wall Street Journal legal section. His collection includes everything from lawfully aquired fully-automatic firearms (worth thousands of dollars PER GUN), to single shot shotguns. Even though there were no charges, the ATF claims it to be asset forfeiture. In order to get the firearms back, he must prove that they were not bought using illegal funds. Even if he gets them back, he will immediately have to sell the majority of them to avoid bankruptcy due to these legal issues.

Please write your Senators and tell them you would like them to contact BATF and DOJ and urge them to release all of the wrongfully seized property.

Thanks for your time.

If I recall correctly, that FFL is a member here, and carefully discussed this, as his attorney probably cautioned. Perhaps he will give us an update?

I would imagine the Bill Clinton era federal employees are finally getting to positions of authority and are showing their hate for us and the 2nd Ammendment and/or the hatred of the anti-gun dem appointments are feeling emboldened by the success of the liberals.  The process is the punishment, eh?

And...the traitor Bush is allowing this to occur.  The lesser of two evils is still evil.  Bush is evil.

Hmmmm, are they saying,...."Be a good sheep, shutup, we know what is best...turn in your guns, your wallets, your family, your hopes and desires and, most importantly, we will train your children in what to think in our schools.  If little Susie gets pregnant, it is not our fault and you are required to take care of your mess with her.  Shut up and put that mindless smile on your face right now or we will ruin you."

Statement of Cavalry Arms

From Shawn Nealon
Cavalry Arms Corp:

For those of you sending out moral support, we very much appreciate it. This is what our 3 different Attorneys all agreed is safe to post....

"For many years Cavalry Arms Corporation (“Cavalry”) has strived to manufacture and sell quality firearms to the public. We have always strived to put our experience from the field into making quality products that the average shooter can afford, while still bringing innovations to the industry. We are dedicated to providing the best possible products and customer service to the firearms market.

On February 27, 2008, agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives executed a federal search warrant on the business premises of Cavalry and on the private residence of its CEO, Shawn Nealon. We have immediately engaged legal counsel to resolve this matter with the federal government. Cavalry is confident that all it conduct has been lawful in carrying out its business activities. The Government has yet to share with the company details of the investigation or the cause precipitating the search warrant. Cavalry is cooperating with the federal investigation. To date no accusations of wrongdoing have been filed against Cavalry or any of its employees regarding alleged illegal activity.

While we are waiting for a resolution to this situation, Cavalry Arms will remain open for business and continue firearms operations under its Manufacturer’s FFL. Unfortunately, the federal government seized business files, computers, and inventory from Cavalry during the execution of the search warrant. As a result, Cavalry has been forced to reconstitute its resources, and we expect to be fully operational in the near future. In the meantime, we still carry firearm parts and emergency medical products for sale. We appreciate your patience, and we thank everyone who has shown us support during this turbulent time."

Oh that....that innocent until proven guilty thing.  Oh, it's still there, its just that the people who cried the loudest about injustice, unfair treatment and human rights only meant it for "good people" (wink, wink).  People who believe in things like God, family, justice for all...or the 2nd ammendment...we are buffoons and we are not "good people".  We are to be punished for our obvious lack of enlightenment and intolerance.

Have ya'll noticed when some individual goes off about an offense to someone else and is indignant about something it's usually them who are the abusers of that particular thing they are so worried about.  For example do you remember the Dems getting the FBI files on the Repubs or, for the other side of the fence the queer (OK...I'm improving here..give me a break I did not say faggot...oops) U.S. Republican Senator who was such a staunch family values supporter?

All of this going on under a "friend" of ours we helped get elected.  And they wonder why we hold our noses about McCain.  The lesser of two evils is still evil.  Don't forget to wear a clothespin when you vote.

This too:  Michael Sullivan is the current Acting Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

Big anti-gun guy.  Have you complained to your U.S. Senators and Representatives.  He's still being held up.

Check out the link below to see who is trying to appoint him.  Truth hurts...get ready for it.

It will help you to understand why the guy who did the Amicus Brief on DC vs. Heller got to where he is...same guy blessed him as well...

This may have been a "live-training" OP for when they go after the bigger manufacturers.  Anything is possible it seems with these guys.
