In this state that only allows 10rnd mags, how do shooters get to use HC mags for matches/TV shows?

I'm sure there is somebody out there that can answer for you.  I would contact USPSA, and ask them.  I know competition folk traveling to California have found a way around the law for matches, but I don't know how.

Competitors coming from out of state to shoot in "certified" competitions may bring in normal capacity magazines  to California for use in that competition. The magazines cannot be given or sold to California residents. We got a legal opinion before we agreed to the show...

Michael, does that mean that California residents cannot participate to the same degree as others?

Yeah, it says convicted felons can handle all the weapons they want if they'll make a shit load of money and do anti gun commercials like "Demand a plan".
They can skip the commercial as long as they promote anti American, and anti Capitalist themes.

There are lots of folks at the matches I go to shooting open class with full cap mags. Because of my innocent nature I have always assumed that these are "grandfathered" mags from the good old days. Personally I shoot single stack so I can practice my reloads :). I let my son shoot production with the SR9 so I have an excuse when he beats my times.

MB,

Maybe it's time for you not to hold the show in a state like California that denies its citizens equal access. You could join the industry members who are boycotting LEOs in states where their citizens are becoming second class.
