Essay on Freedom


     Dear friends and fellow Americans,

     Please take the time to read this and the time to truly think about what I have written and the current state of affairs in our country.  There are those currently in position of authority, power, and control in this country that are not satisfied and want to further their agenda of dominance and control over you, your life, and your freedoms.  It does not matter that gun control and restrictions do not work.   Drunk driving, gang banging, drug dealing, car jacking, assault, robbery, rape, and murder are all against the law.  Along with shop lifting, embezzlement, loitering, and littering.  Laws do not stop evil  or these crimes and neither will gun control laws and restrictions, stop violence.  Evil will still commit evil.   What gun control laws do is restrict and prohibit the freedoms of lawful Americans from protecting themselves and their pursuit of happiness.  Gun control is merely about control.

     These adversaries we face speak of tolerance with a hypocritical tongue.  These adversaries are not content to live just their lives by their beliefs, but insist and demand that all others accept and live by their beliefs, choices, and wishes.  These adversaries are only tolerant if you accept and agree with them and their positions.  Tolerance is their word for one way.  Their way.  Control!  If you disagree, oppose their positions, or worse, stand against them, they will condemn you.  Demonize you.  These adversaries control.  Control you choices, control your freedoms.  Control what car you drive, the faucets in your kitchen sink and bathroom shower.  Control what kind of light bulbs you use to light your kitchen sink and bathroom shower.  Control the rain water on your property and the water you drink and the food you eat.  Control through your health care.  Control you, your family, your children, and grandchildren.  Control of the school and the education of your children and grandchildren.  Control through regulations and taxes.  Regulations that stifle growth and taxes that cripple the economy and cripple you.  Control!  Control through taxes that pay for intolerable programs that further their agenda.  The agenda of control.  Control through debt, insufferable debt, that cripples this nation now and for your children and grandchildren.  Control!

     Control through deceit and division.   The deceit of a government that willfully chose to take part in a smuggling operation of guns to Mexico.  An operation that resulted in the deaths of an American law enforcement officer and Mexican citizens.  The deceit of a government that willfully delays and stalls an investigation into that operation.  An operation that was designed to further support their agenda of gun control.  The deceit of a government that willfully violated current gun laws yet seeks to further control your civil rights.  The deceit of government that for first time in history resulted in the
U.S. attorney general being held in contempt of Congress.   A government that still has not fully divulged the details nor held accountable criminally or civilly those involved.  Control through division of pro gun freedom, and antigun, division of races, division of religion with the war against Christianity, division of controlled immigration and illegal immigration.  Control through the division of the responsible and the irresponsible.  Control through the division of the have and the have nots.  The division of class warfare.  The rich and those whose life style is to be supported by the rich.  The division of the rich who do their fare share and those that need to do their share.

     The control measures being proposed do little to nothing to curb violence of any kind.  The measures address an inanimate object that does nothing on it's own accord.  An object that has been demonized by false and inaccurate labeling, by a false and inaccurate media and government with their own agendas.  It is not a machine gun or automatic weapon.  It is a present day version of a technology that has been in use for more than 100 years, sometimes hundreds of years.  It is about control of the same type of firearm that your mother or father may have taught you firearms safety and to shoot as a child.  About control of the same functioning type of .22 that your grand father or great grandfather used to put food on the table during the great depression.   It is about the control of how an object looks.  It is about parts, essentially accessories, cosmetic features, that have nothing to do with the function of the fire arm.  It is about a pistol grips,  a hole in the stock for your thumb to rest in, a threaded barrel that will accept a muzzle brake or barrel tuner.  There are those who wish to control these and others features and control your freedom by demonizing them, labeling these cosmetic features as menacing or evil.  The true demons, the true menace, the true evil, is the evil that seeks to control you, control your freedoms.  The evil is a government that seeks to restrict your rights, a government that does not protect your rights.   The evil is a government and it's leaders that seek to control and stay in control by dividing the country.  The evil is a government that does not lead.

    The second amendment is not about hunting, or even guns, it is about FREEDOM!

     Gun control is not about safety, protecting kids, or even guns, it is about CONTROL!

     I strongly urge any and all of you to support your rights and freedoms under the constitution of this great country, America. before it is too late, before America is damaged further, before America is damaged beyond repair.   Whether those rights and freedoms be your second amendment rights, your freedom of religious rights, or the many other rights guaranteed by the constitution.  Support those rights.   There is a line in the sand.  A line between right and wrong, a line between good and evil, a line between freedom and subjugation.  A line that freedom must stand up to.   A line that evil must not cross.  A line that freedom must cross and destroy the wrong.

     It really is for the children, the freedom of your children, the freedom of my children.  Freedom!  The freedom of children and grandchildren of America!

Unfortunately those that seek to take your freedoms and control your life have nearly achieved this.  They fool most of the people most of the time.  The advertizing lies are right.  They have an unlimited budget (our money), and a willing partner in the media.  A media that is at best ignorant about firearms, biased in their reporting thereby slanting the stories against guns, or intentionally lying.  I repeatedly see example referring to modern sporting arms as automatic weapons, machine guns, and military weapons.  The media does not issue corrections and lets the misinformation stand as fact being repeated innumerous times.

But your point is well taken. 

There is coming a time when the sheep dogs will be all that stands between the sheep and the wolves.

I fear that time will be very soon upon us.

If we can possibly win, history will record us as patriots.
