Good read from a former prosecutor. But the fools "on the Hill" won't pay any attention to the facts/statistics since it doesn't meet their agenda. The other day stupid Mr. opportunity Jessie Jackson went on the band wagon spouting off that more laws were needed on top of the 2000 plus laws already on the books because Chicago has a gun problem, as does Detroit. The fool hasn't figured it out yet, both cities have strict gun laws, the problem isn't getting better, so lets make more laws. That'll solve the problem. Whats the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over & over expecting the results to be different - or something like that.

Facts take time to express and since they are often based on numbers they are boring .Emotional BS like "It's for the children" is finished before the sheoples attention wanders.
