If there are 2000 firearms injuries in a year, that comes out to more than 5 a day....so it wouldn't take much for them to pick a day and Headline a firearm injury.

I guess it happening at a gun show makes it double bad.

Copied my post from another thread...

 Just a little additional info from the local paper about the nd at the gs Sat..  It seems that a dealer bought a semi-auto from an individual.  The mag had been removed but the chambered round had not.  The dealer pulled the trigger and the round went off, hit the floor and wounded a customer in the foot and leg.  This seems veeeeeeeeeeery strange because I have been going to this show for more years than I can remember and they have very tight rules.  No CCW, no loaded guns, no loaded mags (sellers can have loaded stripper clips and Garand clips (?) but nothing in any gun!) and staff and LEO's are at the only public entrance checking and putting zipties on.  The lines were so long Sat. morning that they sent out an LEO out to zt before the doors opened and they were still checked as people came in!  Shows in 2 other states had nd (5 total injuries).  I cannot say for sure but I do know that in the past at several Ohio Gun Collectors Association meetings/shows several guns were found to have live rounds in them and it was a 99% certainty that person or persons unknown did this on purpose to cause injury, trouble, bad press or whatever.  This may or may not be the case this weekend.  BEWARE!

That's exactly what I'm talking about, I don't think this "happened", I think it was done on purpose .
I'll be the first to say that the majority of people aren't to bright, but this goes counter to my experience of every gun show I've ever attended.

tom, I agree with you but I can't be 100% sure.  I also believe that the mass shootings were bought and paid for by gc freaks but I can't be 100% sure.  I was shocked when my wife agreed with me!

That's exactly what I'm talking about, I don't think this "happened", I think it was done on purpose .

This is how things are going to go. We will be villified, portrayed as extremists, and dangerous and idiotic. If you look at the number of accidents vs the number of people at gun shows that day, the incident rate is probably something like .0001 percent. MINISCULE!!!. It just makes good press for the "narrative" that we're all idiots and can't be trusted with guns.
I went to a lever gun match this weekend...12 of us shot 45 rounds each, and no one got hurt.
I got the blues as my companion.

Most modern-day leftists in Western countries have abandoned the idea of a violent revolution, having replaced it with "the long march through the institutions" as part of the culture war to transform the society through cultural hegemony.  Instead of commanding firing squads, they play mind games of manipulative illusions, in which the demonization of dissent plays a crucial role.  The basic premise hasn't changed: as much as the statists want you to love them, they want you to hate their opponents even more.

Until a time when political opposition can be eliminated completely, having opponents can still be useful: you can steal their ideas, take advantage of their desire to help the economy, and blame them for any of your own failures.  In the meantime, certain rules must be followed to control the public opinion and, through it, the opposition itself.

Personally, I too think these things are set up. I don't mean some mass hypnosis whatever. I think these mass shootings can be tracked back to the pills they're taking though..

These Gun Shows have got to be a set up..
I can't prove it..
