Something in honor of MLK Day

In 1956, Martin Luther King Jr. applied for a concealed weapon permit because of increased threats on his life.  He was denied.

Gun Control: Denying rights to people the government doesn't like since The Reconstruction.

Goes back long before Reconstruction .
Several, if not all,  pre revolution colonies had laws against ownership or possession of arms by Freedmen as well as slaves.
