President Obama is suggesting that House Republicans on the issue of gun control appear neither willing to work with him nor listen to the American public on the issue.

“The House Republican majority is made up mostly of members who are in sharply gerrymandered districts that are very safely Republican and may not feel compelled to pay attention to broad-based public opinion, because what they're really concerned about is the opinions of their specific Republican constituencies,” the president said in an interview with The New Republic.

You know he is wrong.

     What is his answer to the FACT that some of his own Dem's are backing down/away from any AWB bill ? Even Harry Reid knows when to STFU.

      what is his answer to the FACT that many "common citizen " democrats that are opposed to any AWB.

     What is his answer to the   FACT   that every time he opens his mouth about weapons bans - he is the result of more weapon purchases.

     What is his answer to the  FACT  that people are buying up any and all ammo available and    HE  is the cause of the shortage.

     What is his answer to the FACT that the average American is not buying into his line of Bull on this issue ?

Again I'll compromise.  Instead of repealing all gun laws since 1934, I'd be happy with repealing laws since 1968.

Or maybe just doing away with 4473s and background check.

No Compromise!!!

We have done nothing but give up since 1934, and it is time to quit.  Everything they have taken away from the American citizen has done nothing to change the actions of the violent.

By the way, it is time for this multi-media politician to quit watching and blaming Fox News.  If he honestly believes that a media outlet has that much influence on the American public, than it is time for him to accept the fact that the media and game industry have more to do with this than any of the individual tools.

Here is a hint BHO:  Take a look at what the Kung Fu movies and television did for martial arts training and weapons, look at what movies with sword play do to sword sales, and look at what the re-release of Zoro did for the demand for whips. 

I challenge every body who thinks guns are the cause to read STOP TEACHING OUR KIDS TO KILL:  A Call To Action Against TV, Movie & Video Game Violence by Lt. Col. Dave Grossman and Gloria DeGaetana with Pres. Bill Clinton writing in the Introduction.  This book was published in 1999, and I recognized a lot of today in the writing.  This book contains the research that Pres. BHO is calling for in his Executive Orders, and he won't be happy when he sees where the problems lie.
