How to remove squirrels from your deck..

With ammo as scarce and expensive as it is, here is a way to use some of that shooting equipment that has been tucked away in the basement for a few months without depleting those valuable resources...
With friends like these, who needs hallucinations!..

An oldie, but a goodie.  I always love watching that one.

Personally, I've found a cubby set with a 110 conibear works great.  It's an effective solution to a persistent problem and it fills my freezer.

we reload the lyman slugs in 20 ga for the boys to use deer hunting, they use a fold crimp so it's hard to tell slugs from shot

#1 son mixed a slug in with #6 used for squirell hunting - nailed a big red in a tall tree - made a hell of a mess ... but grandpa got another tail to make fish flies out of so it wasn't a total loss ...
Have your musket clean as a whistle, hatchet scoured, 60 rounds powder and ball and be ready to march at a minute's warning.

Need to mark those slugs somehow.  Being sure of what is behind  your target is a lot different with a slug than with #6.

Someone put some bait on a clay pigeon thrower.  When Mr Squirrel went up to feast, the guy pulled the cord and Mr Squirrel discovered the miracle of flight.

I wish I could have seen the flying squirrel but I guess it's considered animal cruelty.

we use brass black on the brass part of the hulls now  ;D

And for the record, I've had a squirrel launch itself off a two story roof at me.  Launching one off a deck isn't going to harm it one bit.
