Often legal immigrants who have gone on to become citizens make the best citizens.

They often come from a country that is extremely lacking in freedom and rights, many times with risk to their and their families lives, they have an intense study of American History and heritage and, once earned, they not what to see what they have worked so hard for be threatened.

I had a guy that worked for me years ago who was a legal immigrant from Mexico. He and his wife did everything by the book to become American citizens and they were both very proud of that. He was quick to tell anyone in conversation that "what his people were doing to this country was a slap in his family's face."

Everything Henson said was true. High School Shooting Teams, (ROTC for that matter now slowly being phased out), Mail Order gun sales, Hardware Stores selling firearms.

Also, it offends the inhibition of the Second Amendment to the Constitution, U.S.C.A.-'A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.' [307 U.S. 174, 177]   The District Court held that section 11 of the Act violates the Second Amendment. It accordingly sustained the demurrer and quashed the indictment.

Justice Sotomayor also said Heller was now "the established law of the land",...and than voted against Chicago vs. McDonald. Which was was upheld also.....

That is the kicker.....the anti's don't know, remember, or care about precedent or history. After all, the Constitution is a "living document".....

The signification attributed to the term Militia appears from the debates in the Convention, the history and legislation of Colonies and States, and the writings of approved commentators. These show plainly enough that the Militia comprised all males physically capable of acting in concert for the common defense. 'A body of citizens enrolled for military discipline.' And further, that ordinarily when called for service these men were expected to appear bearing arms supplied by themselves and of the kind in common use at the time.

From what I'm gathering from watching all of these soundbites, is this "latest poll" that seems to show more people want gun control might be a bit slanted. But then I came to my senses. There is no way a communist, liberal, left wing, socialist, slanted media would ever allow that to occur.
