Contact your representatives apps are down this morning.

Tried using the contact your representatives apps on ruger.com,  S&W.com  and Hornady.com  this morning as per my daily routine and they were all down.   I had to resort to congress.org.   I wonder if they are down because everyone is hitting on them or maybe something more sinister is afoot.   Either way, you can still write your reps on congress.org.  It's a similar app but requires you compose your own letter.  I have several on hand that I can copy and paste, suggest you do the same.

As a Citizen, a Taxpayer, and Voter,  I refuse to be a scapegoat for the
actions of a madman. Restricting my 2nd amendment rights is the wrong
thing to do, and I nor any of my friends or family members will support
any representative who supports any new restrictions on guns or gun
rights. Vote no on any legislation restricting gun rights.  If anything,
we need to look at real solutions to societies problems, such as the
drugging of our children and violent media influences. Eliminating gun
free "killing" zones at our schools is also something to look at as these
are places that most of these monsters commit their atrocities. And what
about violence in our inner cities?  Committed by adolescents with
illegally obtained weapons?  Are stop and frisk laws such a violation of
4th amendment rights if they are more effective as proven in areas of the
country where they are employed?  Why don't we start looking at the Human
Element instead of the inanimate object? Thanks for your time.  Vote no
to new gun restrictions.

Hi;

     When I wanted to repond to my Rep's, the State site was a pain in the butt. So, I went to the NRA site and BINGO, all Rep's were already listed, and the email sent with a acknowledgement from the NRA as to who all got it. It took me about 3 min to type my responce and send it.
