I hear that alot, sometimes..
To those of you who demand that Christians keep our "religion" separate from our "politics", may I remind you that I don't care what you think..
I get to keep talking about Jesus, and keep my firearms to protect myself from those who don't like it..
It works better like that..
(Bitter clinger that I am..  :-* )

You still can't get it through your head can you ?
If you preach to the choir, that's fine.
Preach to every one else and they just aren't interested and people who probably would have agreed with you on everything else wind up writing you off as "another Jesus freak". and putting you in the same category as  the Jehovah Witness's knocking on the door.
That's why you cost the rest of us elections, you're written off as a dip sh!t before you have a chance to get to the meat of the issue.
If you want to retain credibility with the majority you have to make your point BEFORE religion ever comes up.
Then the sensible positions will reflect well on believers instead of your belief prejudicing the listener against your position on the subject.

Well said! It isn't what you say, its how you say it that matters when it comes to politics. Convince me that WHAT you belive is is right first, THEN tell me why you believe it. I'm a Christian, but I don't advertise it. I make my political points on secular logic.
