Did you ever see the first episode of Red Dwarf?

No, but from the write-up on Red Dwarf on IMDB I can see why you may well have seen the whole series.

So what happened in the first episode?

Opens with the 'Cat' dancing down the hall touching everything in sight saying "Mine, mine, and this is mine and that is mine". etc.

If you ever get a chance to see this series go for it.  Some of the best stuff I've ever seen.  Funny, campy, strange, all around good.

I noticed the videos are available in the US. It sounds like a cross between LEX and Hitchhiker's Guide. I'll give it a shot. Of course, I just saw No Country for Old Men and have yet to see I am Legend, so it may be a while.

PS: Sounds like my cat too - everything is his, including the odd human ankle as it strolls by.

I really like the early Dr Who.  The new remakes leave me rather flat.  Blackadder is a classic!
