Here's a picture from my local store.  They posted on Facebook to let customers know that backorders are being filled.

About half are pre-orders the rest are open stock at Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna (Atlanta), GA

Hope my MVP Patrol comes in soon.

Will work for ammo

I have yet read an overall positive review on an AR board. At first I thought it was the standard 1911 vs Glock "plastic pistol" or the Garand guys hating M16s. But there is enough anecdotal evidence to convince me that carbon lowers are just not set up to handle reated rapid fire rifle rounds. There is a rebuttal to this, but for a  few bucks more, I'll stick with aluminum for my lower.

A 5-1/2 pound AR sounds good to me but I'd rather have the Carbon-15 pistol. I heard bad things about them when they were made by Professional Ordnance, but the Bushmasters are better.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. I've heard the same thing from other people.
The original manufacturer did not do that well, but Bushmaster has had no problems.

OMG! A carbon assault gun!  That will get through airport security!  So will the plastic clips!
These must be banned!  Right now!
It's for the children!
