All Top 10 Days And Weeks For Gun Purchases Have Come Under Obama

February 2013 was the third highest month on record for background checks on Americans' purchasing firearms.
According to the FBI NICS database, there were 2,309,393 background checks completed in the month of February.

The only two months that saw a higher number of NICS checks were January 2013, with 2,495,440, and December of 2012, with 2,783,765.
The total number of background checks completed since November of 1998 (the month the FBI began tracking this information) is 165,279,535.

President Barack Obama, dubbed "The greatest gun salesman in history," has presided over 42 percent of these background checks, or a total of 68,898,629.

Also, the top ten highest days and weeks for background checks completed have occurred during Obama's presidency:

I honestly don't think he really cares how many guns civilians have...maybe the more the better.

I do believe his goal is to destroy the country and I can't think of a better way than to pitch it into a civil war.

No matter which way the US troop lean, helping or fighting the citizens, BHO has the UN troops to call on and who knows what mix he might arrange for that invasion.

Just a pondering thought on UN troops. The Japanese never invaded the mainland because they knew how many guns Americans had, and knew there weas no way they could take us on, on our own soil. We have seen that other countries have a better grasp on what is really happening in our country due to their media accurately reporting. Maybe they would come to the same conclusion?

Alright, I got that fantasy out of my system. Because the big difference between WWII and now is that in 1945 America still had a spine, and MOST still had a brain. Today we are a nation of fat, lazy, stupid slobs. Hmmm, not sure sheep is still an accurate term. Americans today more closely resemble a herd of cattle.

Going gleefully to the slaughter I might add.

I've said it before, talk of "UN Troops" is paranoid, uninformed idiocy.
Who supplies the man power ?
How do they get here, who pays for it ?
Have you ever stopped to think how many troops would be required ?
It took 70,000 US troops over a month to secure a rock called Iwo Jima.
The Germans invaded Russia with over 4 million men and never made it to Moscow.
The type of operation required to put a meaningful military force ashore on the US would cripple the world economy.
No matter what uniforms they wear any troops the may operate in the US will be Americans.

Our country is in serious trouble when the guns and ammunition in my safe have appreciated in value far more in 6 months than my retirement investments did over the past 4 years. I can't think of a greater indictment on this miserable, incompetent and destructive Administration, and the panic-based buying frenzy their policies have created.

I was over at Bruno's Shooters Supply last week, picking up 8 pounds of IMR 4831. I tried calling for a half hour to make sure he had it in stock, but I couldn't get through. All I got was a busy signal. So I took the chance and drove over. The store only had 2 other people in it, but Bruno, his daughter, and both of his sons were all on the phone. He told me this is 10 times worse than the run after the 2008 election.

He had quite a lot of powder, primers, and bullets in stock, and the prices weren't too bad considering the insanity going on. I may go back and pick up a thousand Magnum Large Rifle Primers this week. Cabela's doesn't have anything on their shelves.

Very good point. This is what kills me when the MSM shows video clips of the North Korean Army marching around that little square in front of Kim Jong Il Jr., or whatever he calls himself. There is no way that country has the capability to move their army to a foreign shore to fight any type of battle. They wouldn't last a half hour, if they even made it. The logistics required to move an army, and keep it supplied are mind boggling.

Try to imagine what it costs the taxpayer to manufacture an MRE, ship it to Afghanistan, and deliver it to the field, and place it in the hands of one hungry troop. You could take him out for steak and lobster at the best restaurant in New York cheaper.
Add in the clothes, shoes and boots, guns, ammo, medicine, vehicles, aircraft, fuel, and you are talking billions of dollars a month. And that is assuming you have the system in place to even do it to begin with.

I don't care how much ammo this country's government buys, or vehicles. There is no way they could "take over" the United States. The logistics would be impossible. It would require an Army 100 times the size of what we now have. And that is assuming any and all of the troops would fire on their own people, and kill them. You would have more deserters than Iraq did in Desert Storm.
