I bet no one but the Marines on here noticed the shot of the "Yellow Footprints".
That's where it all begins.

By "where it all begins" would you be talking about boot camp?

It all starts here:

God Bless Em'

and the "yellow steps".
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

They may do it that way now.
In 1977 there were no camera's,  no witness's, and the DI's weren't that polite.  ;D

Somehow The Gunny and your personal experience, leave me with NO doubt about that.  ::)

Unless I missed it, we used them for bait along the shore in Wilmington, NC. Very prevalent in Parris Island. They swarm on the beach as locusts,..... ;)

At least it's not the crabs.... :P

Crabs don't walk around on the tip of your nose at ATTENTION , look you in the eye as if to say, "I dare you to swat me" and then chomp down where you can watch them do it.
