Prayer request for Rand Paul..

He's on the Senate floor now, filibustering to "DO SOMETHING" about this grand, ludicrous but logical extension of the mentality of the Patriot Act, aka killing you and I at home or work with an airstrike, without the courtesy of a trial, a "Thank You" or a "Kiss My Ass"..
Maybe even ask your (willing) Senator to help the guy out..

But after more than three hours, Paul got some help and the filibuster began to gain steam. Lee joined the filibuster at 2:57 p.m. and Cruz at 3:08 p.m. Wyden jumped in in the filibuster’s fifth hour, at 3:53 p.m.

Hi;

     Along with a prayer for him to continue on, I always pray that this country survive for the next 4 years - I know it can - it did before in troubled times because the average American wants it to.

     I am not a fan of Abe Lincoln, but if you ever visit his monument in DC, on 1 side is the    4 score and 7 years ago speech, on the other side of the room is a speech of his about those who wish to tear this country down. To me that speech is more important than the   4 score and 7 years speech....

     believing in the good of America, we can/will overcome this current attempt to destroy/overthrow the Greatest Country the world has ever known. there are too many departed souls that are watching us at this important moment.

Sadly neither of my 2 Senators have shown up to do diddly squat.

In watching the Senate for the last few hours, (as of 10:30PM CT), I am again reminded, and thank Almighty God that the groupies of the GOP have not hanged the hopes, dreams and future of the nation on notion of a man unprepared for the job..

You know, the image brought to mind reading that Ron Johnson had dinner with the president while Rand Paul was fighting for our liberty was of Hanoi Jane sitting on a North Vietnam AA gun that would be used to fire on our fly boys that night.
