$25 at Lowes.

3/4" copper pipe is a loose fit, some electrical tape snugs it up, might go with epoxy later.
The overpressure release is going to get sealed for sure. Who needs that?

12 ga wads are loose enough to fall to the bottom of the tubing - turned backwards the shot cup seems to open up to seal OK.
Must. Experiment. More.

on edit: I think I may drop down the tubing size more to what Sledge used.
Better choice of projectiles and the smaller volume will help the velocity. If I go down to something more 1/2" size I can shoot foam ear plugs.  ;D

roflmao and so it begins  8)
Started off with one person at my club now there are least 1/2 dozen and of course their friends see them and they are making them, Bunnings Hardware must be thinking "hell there is a lot of clogged drains all of a sudden".
Have fun, BTW electrical conduit works well as a barrel, and is the right size for nerf darts. It will send them through a cardboard box.

No but the stuff I used is about 5/8ths inch whicj allows 1/2" aluminium tube to slide nicely inside as a sleeve.

How loud is it, if you don't use the compressor?

Very quiet.
There is no crack like you get with an air rifle, because it has no springs etc.
its more like a blow dart, if one was to compare.

Someone has to ask.

Do you think any of the ammo it shoots would be effective against iguanas?

Paintballs are 68 cal. - the 12ga wad I've been blasting around the house is approx. 72-73 cal.
A little tissue 'patch' could be used on the paintball to turn iguanas into chameleons.  ;D

Wally World only sells airsoft, not paintballs (that I could find).
I've been flinging the shotgun wad around upside down like a shuttlecock. Maybe I'll glue a paintball on top of the shotgun wad like a paint Brenneke slug?
I wonder what using the wad in it's normal orientation would do filled up with airsoft pellets?

Must. Experiment. More.

.69 caliber lead balls are .678" diameter and paintball guns are .68 caliber. Is anyone else thinking what I am? I've shot marbles and ball bearings out of my paintball gun but they weren't the right size. The lead balls should be a perfect fit.
