I am i the early stages of establishing an NFA Trust to buy a supressor(s.) Budget-wise, I just found that you can buy threaded barrels so no need ot buy a new gun equipped with a threaded barrel (mixed feelings about that.) Anyway, it seems like I can buy an oversize can, say a .45, and then use it on smaller calibers like the .40 and 9mm. As long as it is on a pistol I am good going smaller. Is this correct? Will a .45 can work just as well over a 9mm barrel?
Also, it seems like there are different thread size options, how difficult would it be to get something universal, or are adapters needed/available?
Was hoping to get some feedback or suggestions from those more knowledgable.
