A beautiful day in NC spent it at the Trap and Skeet Range. They have a skeet tournament going  all weekend so I watched a few rounds. The Leader was a 13 year old girl, some one said she was on the Tour. I shot four rounds of Trap boy talk about a perishable skill. I stunk to say the least it was windy so I will blame my poor performance on that. I wanted to take a lesson but the Pro was on the Skeet Range as a safety.

Looking forward to those days here.  A year ago last Thursday it was 80 here, and this week we couldn't get to 30.  Today it was a high of 22 with 25 mph sw winds.  Cold and sunny, but the sun had enough power that the black plowed fields were steaming.  Hard to believe that a month from now the tractors will be rolling and seeds going in.

I spent the day processing NRA Shotgun awards for our FFA shooters for their 2012 season.  It costs me nearly $100 per year for the patches (I went to making my own certificates to save $'s), but the increased team enthusiasm over the last six years has been a reward worth it.  They will be presented Tuesday at the banquet, but I have to miss for the first time since I started due to meetings for work.

I feel your pain.
I shot 100 singles and 50 pairs of doubles today in a tournament. Stunk. It. Up. Just couldn't 'marry' my eyes to the clay.
I'm hoping to pull a decent Hncp score out of my azz tomorrow so I can keep my string of 'cashes' going. (100% so far)   

*Silver Lining* - I might have won the pistol side tourney on Friday with my trusty Gold Cup. Will find out at the awards ceremony after the trap shoot finishes up. Pulled one out of the black into the 8 ring but all the rest were 9s and 10s.
