Should the US Pull Out of Chicago?

We pulled out of Iraq and are pulling out of Afghanistan, should we pull out of Chicago too?

Body count: In the last six months 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago compared to 221 killed in Iraq, and

Chicago has one of the strictest gun laws in the entire US.

President: Barack Hussein Obama
Senator: Dick Durbin
House of Representative: Jesse Jackson Jr.
Governor: Pat Quinn
House Leader: Mike Madigan
Atty. Gen.: Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike)
Mayor: Rahm Emanuel

The leadership in Illinois - all Democrats.

Of course, they're all blaming each other.
Can't blame Republicans; there aren't any!

Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country.
Can't blame Republicans; there aren't any!

State pension fund $78 Billion in debt, worst in country.
Can't blame Republicans; there aren't any!

Cook County (Chicago) sales tax 10.25% highest in country.
Can't blame Republicans; there aren't any!

This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois . And he is going to "fix" Washington politics for us???lame Republicans; there aren't any!

George Ryan is no longer governor, he is in the big house. Of course he was replaced by Rob Blagojevich who is...that's right,

also in the big house. And Representative Jesse Jackson Jr. resigned a couple of weeks ago. That's because he is

fighting being sent to...right again, the big house! Illegal misuse of only $750K. What’s the big deal?

The Land of Lincoln, where governors make our license plates!!!!

No, I believe we should introduce an experiment in justice. First repeal laws against self defense and strengthened the duty of the courts to prosecute criminal use of guns. If that doesn't work then the next step would be to declare "open season"  on gang members, a policy of "see a thug, shoot a thug" would go a long way toward changing the climate in that city. Drug dealers and wife beaters need not be a member of any group to be included in the "open season" program.

No need to go that far. Just bring back those old "wanted dead or alive" posters. I think the average street scumbag would make himself scarce.

Are you kidding?! A Dead or Alive poster would be seen as a handbill for a new rapper, or if they did take it at face value, it would be as trophy's to collect for the local Thug & Drug HQ..
It's gonna take alot of high (Chicago ruling) class funerals and massacred gangs to get Chicago right, if it is ever to get right. It's been too long and it runs too deep. The place never recovered from Capone..
We'd be better served by giving it to Lil Kim of N Korea as an olive branch.. Canadian whiskey and season tickets to the Bulls would make the guy happy. It did the trick for his dad..
With friends like these, who needs hallucinations!..

I did intend for us to pay the rward. As to the apper? I'd know where to find him to collect wouldn't I? As for chicago, I'd miss Pizzareia Duo and the Checker Board Lounge, but the rest is negotiable with the Koreans. They couldn't possibly do a worse job of running the place.
