The Presidency
« on: April 08, 2013, 02:44:28 PM »
Considering the "indiscretions" committed by President Clinton and the recent blatant lawbreaking that occurred in Fast and Furious, I am wondering if a President will ever be held accountable for his actions in the same fashion as a U.S. citizen?  This prompted my poll.

Hasnt happened yet and we've had a lot worse then BO and Clinton. Think US Grant or Buchananan. Worst we'll ever see is someone get the boot. I don't think we'll ever see a President in prison. Maybe we can just send them into exile in France next to all other third world dictators that get run out of the country.

This from one of the guys here who actually voted for bho.   >:(

Assassinations, like Kennedy's are messy, too public (sends the message, though), too many people involved, too many chances for leaks, too many people to disappear, etc. Physical assassinations are the very archetype of complex, almost uncontrollable systems.

Character assassination works wonders. The leftoids own the press, most of the courts, and most of the Fed .gov, as well as many state and local .govs as well. So, should a patriot - should someone who wants to restore the Constitution and eliminate the elitism, eliminate the entitlements - actually get elected POTUS, they will find a way to impeach him to eliminate him.

klintoon was a bad joke, he almost muffed being POTUS. It took all of the Fed .gov powers to save his sorry behind and only impeach him, without the conviction.

I think a Watergate type event will be the most we will see.

Reason being that the it's a "Jury of Peers" and  not of them will inflict a punishment greater than they would want to bear when their turn comes.

The Watergate team got caught red handed and there was no time to build a cover...even though they tried...and payed for the attempt.

More likely it will be a Clinton like affair (pun intended) with a lot of sabre rattling just to make the circus believable...sort of.

I'm inclined to agree with SOLUS.

All we will see is an acknowledgement that something may have happened.  But, we will never know what it was or to whom it happened.

The current felon in chief may be the finest example of criminality posing as definitive good.

Will he ever face charges.  No.

I weep for my country.

Kangaroo Court:  ..... a proceeding and its leaders who are considered sham, corrupt, and without regard for the law.

All three branches of the US Government, and therefore any US Senate-run "impeachment trial",  fit the above definition to a "T".    In the unlikely event a future US President is ever charged in the House and tried in the Senate the proceseeding will be held just before or during the collapse of the country itself.

Only if the sitting POTUS is a Republican.

As with Nixon .
Consider, Nixon was forced out of office because he lied about Watergate.
No one died .
Clinton was indicted by the House though not impeached by the Senate for lying about the chubby chick .
Again, no provably connected dead bodies .
Obama, Holder, and Clinton continue to lie about "Fast and Furious" (1 dead Border patrol agent 300+ dead Mexicans ) and Benghazi (4 dead Americans including the Ambassador )
And the media's reaction ?
"Those evil Republicans are politicizing this tragedy !"
Meanwhile Obama is on his 3rd or 4th appearance with the "Newtown families and traveling salvation show" shilling his Constitution violating gun grab.

Hey hey hey people. Have some respect for the office.

Is it coincidence that the office ( small "o" ) and a toilet seat have the same shape ?
