School Indoctrination Continues

In the back of my mind I hear Pink Floyd....... "All in all, we're all just bricks in the wall........."

School: Americans Don’t Have Right to Bear Arms

The father of a Connecticut child is furious after discovering that his son’s school is teaching students that Americans don’t have a Second Amendment right to bear arms.

“I am appalled,” said Steven Boibeaux, of Bristol. “It sounds to me like they are trying to indoctrinate our kids.”
Boibeaux’s son is an eighth grader at Northeast Middle School. On Monday his social studies teacher gave students a worksheet titled, ‘The Second Amendment Today.’

“The courts have consistently determined that the Second Amendment does not ensure each individual the right to bear arms,” the worksheet states. “The courts have never found a law regulating the private ownership of weapons unconstitutional.

The worksheet, published by Instructional Fair, goes on to say that the Second Amendment is not incorporated against the states.
“This means that the rights of this amendment are not extended to the individual citizens of the states,” the worksheet reads. “So a person has no right to complain about a Second Amendment violation by state laws.”
According to the document, the Second Amendment “only provides the right of a state to keep an armed National Guard.”

Boibeaux said he discovered the worksheet as he was going over his son’s homework assignments.

“I’m more than a little upset about this,” he told Fox News. “It’s not up to the teacher to determine what the Constitution means.”

Mat Staver, the founder and chairman of the Liberty Counsel, called the lesson propaganda – that is “absolutely false.”

“In fact, the US Supreme Court has affirmed that the Second Amendment ensures the individual the right to bear arms,” Staver told Fox News.

“The progressive interpretation of the Second Amendment is that it doesn't give you the right to bear arms – that it’s a corporate right of the government – but that has been rejected by the Courts.”

Boibeaux’s son’s teacher also told the students that the Constitution is a “living document.”

As noted in the worksheet provided to students – that means “the interpretation changes to meet the needs of the times.”

“The judges and courts of each generation provide the interpretation of the document,” the worksheet states.
Boibeaux called that concept mind-boggling.

It’s not up to the teacher to determine what the Constitution means,” he said. “If you want to learn about the Constitution, recite it word for word.”

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

I raised hell with the County Library over similar issues here, and this is a Red county.
“It will be of little avail to the people that the laws are made by men of their own choice if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood.”

Red county/Blue county doesn't matter.
This comes from the NEA and Washington as part of the "Agenda 21" conspiracy.

That teacher(s) should be on the street, along with any administrator who was aware of the lesson.

Every pro 2A lawyer in that school district should file law suits for every pro 2A citizen against the teacher(s) involved, the school administrators, the school district and the Board of Education.

Everyone should picket the school, fill the PTA and Board meetings with concerned citizens who just won't go away.

I'd say to strike the school and keep the kids home, but unless you start home schooling, the missed days could cause them trouble.

Solus,
Pay attention, the teachers are required to teach the curriculum they are given .
Yes, some actually support this crap, many teachers however simply have to much time in the job to leave so they try to do the best they can with the shit their school administrators give them.
Did you see last week that 35 Atlanta teachers and administrators have been arrested for cheating ?
Actually educating children is not part of the job.
The job is to get good test scores so the school, or district get more money.
If the test required teaching that red is blue that is what administrators would require teachers to do .

My point is the school should be shut down/disrupted rather than let this continue.

ANY non-violent action that throws a wrench in the works is worth taking.

ANY teacher who is willing to teach lies doesn't deserve the job.

And the other incidents you mention only further the need to put an end to it.

Zero education is better than one filled with falsehoods and lies.

Easier to start the "No Compromise" doctrine at the local level where coordination is manageable.
